Energy-saving principle
Add a reheating step to the cycle—this raises the average
temperature of endothermy, which in turn makes the cycle more
efficient.
Now, when a drum boiler is starting up, the steam-water pipeline
hasn’t built up proper circulation yet. That means the boiler feed
water is just sitting there, not moving—and the water inside the
economizer is also stagnant at this point. As the boiler’s
combustion gets stronger and the flue gas temperature goes up, the
water in the economizer can easily vaporize. If that happens, parts
of the economizer end up overheating.
To prevent this from occurring, we connect a pipe from the steam
drum’s centralized sewer pipe to the economizer’s inlet—this pipe
acts as a recirculation line. It keeps the water in the economizer
flowing, so vaporization doesn’t happen.

1. Absorb the heat of low-temperature flue gas, reduce the exhaust
temperature, reduce the exhaust loss, and save fuel.
2. Because the feed water is heated in the economizer before
entering the steam drum, the heat absorption of the feed water on
the heating surface is reduced, and the economizer can be used to
replace part of the evaporation heating surface with high cost.
3. When the feed water temperature increases, the wall temperature
difference will be reduced when it enters the steam drum, and the
thermal stress will be reduced accordingly, prolonging the service
life of the steam drum.
