• Inspection cycle: Check the tensioner stroke every 60,000 km, if the piston extends ≥9 mm (reference scale line) or the chain lateral amplitude >1 mm, a complete replacement is required.
• Abnormal noise diagnosis: A clattering sound >3 seconds during cold start is usually due to tensioner depressurization; persistent metallic knocking requires checking for chain wheel tooth wear or guide rail breakage.

Regular maintenance: Regularly using oil that meets the manufacturer's standards and timely replacement is key to extending the life of the timing chain.
