coatings, production, and substrates. The specific trends are as
follows:
On one hand, the technology of special functional coatings will
advance at an accelerated pace. For example, nanocoatings, leveraging the properties of nanomaterials, can significantly
enhance the corrosion resistance and weather resistance of
prepainted steel coils. Self-cleaning coatings, based on photocatalytic or superhydrophobic principles, allow
dust on the panel surface to fall off easily, reducing subsequent
cleaning and maintenance costs. Antibacterial coatings can be widely applied in scenarios such as indoor architectural
decoration and food processing plants to inhibit bacterial growth.
On the other hand, the proportion of environmentally friendly
coatings will continue to rise. Environmentally friendly coating
materials such as water-based coatings and powder coatings will accelerate the replacement of traditional solvent-based
coatings to comply with environmental standards for low VOC
(Volatile Organic Compounds) emissions.
With the maturity of technologies such as artificial intelligence
and big data, the level of intelligence in prepainted steel coil
production lines will be continuously improved. Intelligent
production lines can automatically adjust key parameters such as
coating ratio, coating thickness, and baking temperature, reducing
deviations caused by human intervention and improving product
uniformity.
Furthermore, technologies like industrial internet and the internet
