Product Description
The duckbill check valve is made of resilient neoprene and
artificial fibres, which are specially processed to resemble a
duck's beak, hence the name duckbill valve. In the absence of
internal pressure, the mouth of the duck closes under the action of
elasticity. As the internal pressure increases, the outlet of the
duckbill gradually increases and the liquid can be discharged at a
high flow rate.
Functionality
Rubber duckbill valves prevent flooding and water intrusion into
basement sewers and streets, avoiding major damage, preventing
water levels from rising, flooding into sewage treatment plants,
drainage pumping stations, preventing the spread of sewage or
liquid odours, and preparing for drainage.
