What is Selenium Enriched Yeast?
Selenium-enriched yeast is produced by adding selenium during the
yeast culture process. As the yeast grows, it absorbs and utilizes
the selenium, organically combining with proteins and
polysaccharides within the yeast body to convert it into biological
selenium. This eliminates the toxic side effects and
gastrointestinal irritation of chemical selenium (such as sodium
selenite), allowing for more efficient and safer absorption and
utilization.
Selenium is an essential trace element for the human body, with
important physiological functions closely related to human health.
It can prevent and inhibit tumors, combat aging, maintain normal
cardiovascular function, and prevent the development of
