What is Rutin Extract 95% Rutin?
Rutin, also known as rutin or vitamin P, has a molecular formula of
C27H30O16 and is a natural flavonoid glycoside. It belongs to a
group of flavonol glycosides widely found in plants, with two
glycosides being glucose and rhamnose. It appears as a pale yellow
or light green crystalline powder. It is soluble in pyridine,
formyl alcohol, and alkali, slightly soluble in ethanol and ethyl
acetate, and virtually insoluble in chloroform, benzene, carbon
disulfide, and petroleum ethe. It has anti-inflammatory,
antioxidant, anti-allergic, and antiviral properties.

rutin is a PAF receptor antagonist.
