The LNK-ECP1100 is a newly developed professional Ethernet over
Coax Extender integrated with
PoE+ functionality, specifically engineered to address the need for
cost-effective network extension in
scenarios where rewiring is impractical. As an Ethernet over Coax
Extender, it leverages existing coaxial
cables to transmit both Ethernet signals and power, eliminating the
need for additional network wiring
and reducing deployment costs—ideal for upgrading legacy
surveillance or industrial networks.
This Ethernet over Coax Extender is designed to simultaneously
transmit multi-channel power and
network data signals over existing coaxial infrastructure, with a
maximum transmission distance of up
to 300 meters and a network baud rate of up to 100Mbps. It supports
PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at standard),
capable of supplying power to connected devices such as IP cameras,
network switches, or wireless
access points while transmitting data—simplifying the setup of
distributed monitoring or remote network
nodes.
A key advantage of this Ethernet over Coax Extender is its robust
reliability features: it is equipped with
excellent lightning protection (up to 6KV surge protection) and
anti-interference performance, effectively
resisting electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency
interference (RFI) common in industrial
or outdoor environments. Additionally, it incorporates an automatic
link recovery mechanism: if any network
link becomes abnormal (e.g., signal interruption or transient
interference), the device automatically detects
and restores communication, ensuring stable data transmission
without manual intervention.
This “zero-disconnection” design realizes non-stop industrial
network transmission, avoiding network
crashes and data loss—critical for safeguarding the security of
surveillance zones and ensuring the continuity
of mission-critical applications. The Ethernet over Coax Extender
series is widely used in CCTV surveillance
systems (both analog-to-IP upgrades and new IP camera deployments),
remote network extension scenarios
(such as residential communities, industrial parks, and
transportation hubs), and legacy infrastructure upgrades—
providing a reliable, cost-effective solution for extending
Ethernet coverage without rewiring.
