This converter supports transmission of 1Ch 12G-SDI video signals
(with embedded audio for
seamless audio-video synchronization),1Ch Gigabit Ethernet signals,
and 2Ch Backward RS485
data signals via a single fiber optical cable, eliminating the need
for multiple cables and simplifying
infrastructure deployment. It features a local 12G-SDI loop output,
allowing users to monitor the source
video signal in real time at the transmitter end—ensuring signal
integrity before transmission and facilitating
quick troubleshooting in professional setups.
The 12G-SDI to Fiber Converter with Gigabit Ethernet and 2Ch
Backward RS485 comes as a complete
set, including one transmitter unit and one receiver unit, to form
a full transmission link. It supports a wide
range of video resolutions and formats, covering HDTV 4K2K (38402160@60Hz) for UHD applications,
as well as lower resolutions such as 1080P, 1080I, and
720P—ensuring backward compatibility with
existing SD/HD/3G-SDI systems and flexible adaptation to diverse
project requirements. The embedded
audio function maintains CD-level audio quality, while the 1Ch
Gigabit Ethernet port enables high-speed
data transfer for networked devices (such as IP cameras, NVRs, or
remote control systems), and the 2Ch
Backward RS485 supports bidirectional serial data communication for
remote device control, such as PTZ
cameras or industrial controllers.
