1. What is the purpose of the Bently Nevada 31000-28-10-00-017-00-02 Proximity Probe Housing?

This housing provides mechanical and environmental protection for proximity probes, enabling accurate measurement

of radial vibration or Keyphasor® signals in rotating machinery.

2. Is this housing compatible with all Bently Nevada probes?

It is specifically designed for use with the 3300 XL 8 mm proximity probes.

3. Can the housing be used in hazardous environments?

Yes, when used with an approved transducer system and appropriate intrinsic safety barriers, the housing is suitable

for intrinsically safe hazardous area applications.

4. How does the housing facilitate maintenance?

The design allows for external access to the probe and its extension cable, permitting gap adjustment or probe

replacement without disassembling the machine.
