Key Components & Function

• Rotating Bowl:
  A horizontally-oriented, solid-wall bowl that rotates at high speeds, providing the surface for separation and ensuring high solids retention.

• Scroll Conveyor:
  An internal helical screw that operates at a differential speed, continuously conveying settled solids toward the discharge ports.

• Feed and Discharge System:
  Designed for continuous operation: an inlet introduces slurry, while separate outlets discharge dewatered solids and clarified liquid.

Operational Process

1. Continuous Feeding:
   The slurry is fed steadily into the rotating bowl.

2. Centrifugal Separation:
   Under high G-force, denser solids migrate outward and accumulate along the bowl wall, while oils and lighter liquids form an inner layer.

3. Dewatering:
   The solids are compacted and mechanically dried as they are conveyed through the bowl’s tapered section.

4. Dual Discharge:
   Dewatered solids are extruded through the solids discharge, while clarified liquid and separated oil are discharged via the liquid weir.
