pre-packed sand control screens, built with precision and

Our pre-packed screens consist of an inner and outer wire-wrapped
jacket securely mounted over a perforated base pipe. The filter
medium thickness and size are customized based on specific well
conditions, including formation characteristics, flow rates, and
borehole dimensions.
Ideal for stand-alone sand control applications, OASIS pre-packed
screens offer an advanced alternative to conventional wire-wrapped
screens. The integrated gravel pack layer provides exceptional sand
retention without the need for external gravel placement—making
them especially effective in challenging formations where
traditional methods may fail.
These screens effectively prevent formation sand migration, helping
to stabilize the wellbore and maintain optimal production rates.
They are commonly used in sandstone, limestone, and other
unconsolidated formations, often in conjunction with low-pressure
hydraulic fracturing operations.
The filter media—whether gravel, quartz sand, ceramic, or other
proppants—are densely packed using industrial vibrating equipment
to eliminate voids. Each assembly is rigorously inspected under
high-intensity light to ensure uniform compaction and distribution.
OASIS pre-packed screens can be customized to any coverage ratio to
align with rig pipe handling systems or target specific reservoir
zones.
Construction
The typical OASIS pre-packed screen includes six layers (from outer
to inner):
Outer screen
Outer support rod
Pre-packed gravel layer
Inner screen
Inner support rods
Perforated base pipe
This dual-screen design features two wire-wrapped jackets with a
resin- or ceramic-coated silica sand fill in between. The wire
gauge and sand size are selected based on formation particle size
distribution to ensure optimal filtration.
Materials
We fabricate our screens using premium materials including
stainless steel 304, 316L, low carbon steel, and special alloys
such as Monel 400. All materials can be tailored to meet specific
environmental and operational requirements.
