standard PCBs.
This enhanced copper thickness is specifically designed to handle
high-current applications and provide superior thermal management.
Copper Thickness: Standard PCBs typically have a copper thickness
ranging from 0.5 to 3 ounces per square foot (oz/ft²), the heavy
copper PCB is defined as having a copper thickness of 3 oz/ft² or
more on its inner and/or outer layers. In some cases, "extreme heavy copper" PCBs can have copper weights
exceeding 20oz/ft².
