The Autonics PRDW12-8DP is a diffuse reflective photoelectric
sensor housed in a Ø12 mm cylindrical metal housing, designed for
an ultra-short sensing distance of 8 mm. It incorporates a
high-performance infrared LED and precision optical lens, enabling
reliable detection of highly reflective, low-reflective, and
transparent objects with a repeatability of 0.05 mm, ensuring zero
missed detection for high-speed assembly lines and precision
placement equipment.
The sensor features a one-touch teach function, enabling tool-free
adjustment and automatic sensitivity setting within 2 seconds at
the touch of a button. It also provides reverse polarity
protection, surge suppression, and short-circuit protection,
ensuring reliable operation even with wide voltage fluctuations of
10–30 VDC. A 360° red LED indicator provides real-time power and
output status information, allowing maintenance personnel to
confirm sensor operation without downtime. The PRDW12-8DP's IP67
protective housing and –25°C to +65°C operating temperature range
ensure excellent performance in environments with humidity, dust,
oil, and vibration. Its M12 connector outlet allows for quick
