The rotary drum granulator (also called a rotary granulator) is a
key machine in the compound fertilizer industry—it shapes materials
into specific granules. It works for both cold and hot granulation
processes, and can produce large quantities of compound
fertilizers, including high-concentration, medium-concentration,
and low-concentration ones.
Its main working principle is wet granulation. Specifically, we add
a controlled amount of water or steam to the basic fertilizer
ingredients. This lets the ingredients react fully inside the drum.
At the same time, the pressure between particles makes the
materials clump into round granules, which finally completes the
granulation.
