Ppgi / Ppgl (prepainted galvanized steel/ prepainted galvalume
steel) is coated with an organic layer providing increased
protection from corrosion and increasing the lifespan of the steel
sheet.
The metallic base for ppgi / ppgl can be either cold-rolled steel,
hot dipped galvanized steel, electro-galvanized steel or hot-dipped
galvalume steel. The coating material for ppgi/ppgl sheets consists
of polyester, silicon modified polyester, polyvinylidene fluoride,
high-durability polyester and other materials.
