Lightweight and high-strength
The density is only 1/4 of steel and 1/2 of aluminum, but its
tensile strength can reach 100~300MPa (close to ordinary steel), it
can withstand external forces such as wind and snow loads,
personnel trampling, etc., and is suitable for large-span building
roofs (such as factories and warehouses).
Outstanding impact resistance
The impact strength is 200~300 times that of ordinary glass and
10~20 times that of tempered glass. It can withstand the impact of
hail, falling objects, etc., and is not easy to break. Even if it
is damaged, it will not form sharp debris, reducing safety hazards.
Good dimensional stability
The thermal expansion coefficient is low (about 2.5×10⁻⁵/℃), and it
is less affected by temperature changes. It is not easy to cause
warping and cracking due to thermal expansion and contraction after
installation, reducing the risk of water leakage.
4. Good corrosion resistance and chemical stability
It has strong resistance to chemical substances such as acids,
alkalis, salts, and organic solvents. It does not rust or corrode.
It can be used in corrosive environments such as chemical
workshops, electroplating plants, and sewage treatment plants. For
example: In beach buildings, it can resist the erosion of salt in
seawater, which is far better than metal tiles that are prone to
rust.
