Product Overview
The Cisco GLC-FE-100EX and GLC-FE-100LX are Fast Ethernet SFP
transceivers designed to provide 100BASE-EX and 100BASE-LX
connectivity, respectively, over single-mode fiber (SMF). These
SFPs offer long-range fiber transmission at 1310 nm, with the EX
version supporting up to 40 km and the LX version up to 10 km. They
are ideal for metro access, enterprise backhaul, or long-distance
campus deployments requiring reliable and interference-resistant
Ethernet connections.
