ISO 20877 Shoe Thermal Insulation Testing Machine Shoe Cold Resistance Tester

Introduction

It is mainly used to test the cold resistance of finished shoes. By observing the temperature changes of the inner lining and inner sole of the shoe upper during a certain period of time in a specific environment, it can determine the quality of the cold resistance of the shoes. It is applicable for cold resistance performance tests of all types of shoes or boots. All accessories are made of stainless steel.

Experimental Principle

The shoe cold resistance testing machine is mainly used to test the cold resistance of finished shoes. The testing method is as follows: First, a temperature testing system is installed inside the inner sole pad, and another one is installed on the inner side of the upper surface. Steel balls are filled into the shoes. If the height of the upper surface is insufficient, a ring can be installed at the shoe opening to increase the height. Adjust the temperature in the cold resistance box to maintain it at -20℃ ± 2℃. This is the initial temperature for measuring the sample. Place the sample on the telescopic frame in the freezer box, adjust the telescopic height so that the top line of the shoes is level with the opening of the instrument. Seal the opening with a thermal insulator to prevent cold air from entering the shoes through the top opening. Use a temperature measuring instrument to record the temperature change of the thermocouple within 30 minutes when the shoes are placed in the cold resistance test box, and calculate the temperature drop within 30 minutes (the temperature measuring instrument can also be connected to a computer, and the computer will automatically measure and calculate the temperature changes inside the shoes to determine the quality of the shoes' cold resistance performance).
