High Efficiency Biomass Straw Automatic Pelletizing Production Line Equipment

An automatic pelletizing production line is an integrated system designed to transform various raw materials into dense, uniform pellets through a series of automated processes, including crushing, mixing, pelletizing, cooling, and packaging. These lines are used across industries like biomass fuel, animal feed, and fertilizer production to enhance efficiency, reduce labor, and create consistent, high-quality pellets from materials such as wood, straw, agricultural waste, and industrial byproducts.

The straw rotary cutter is a pre-processing device for crop straw, crushing long straw and stalks into 3-5cm pieces. The hammer mill then grinds the sawdust into a fine powder of approximately 3-4mm.

The three-layer drum dryer achieves a moisture content of approximately 13-18% after drying.

The biomass pellets are available in diameters of 6-10mm. The vertical ring die pelletizer uses a direct feed into the press chamber, facilitating easier entry of the material into the press chamber. This is particularly suitable for pelletizing straw-based materials.

The cooling and packaging section is used to reduce pellet temperature and moisture. The pellet temperature after cooling is generally no higher than 5°C above room temperature, and the moisture content is approximately 8-10%.

Raw materials
Mainly wheat stalks, corn stalks, reed stalks, rice straw, rapeseed stalks, and other crop straws.

The crop straw is first pulverized in a rotary cutter to a coarse powder size of 3-5 cm, then finely ground in a hammer mill to approximately 3-4 mm. The 40% moisture content is then dried in a three-stage drum dryer to approximately 15%. Finally, it is pelletized. The finished pellets have a diameter of 6-10 mm. After cooling, they are packaged in small bags of 20-50 kg each for easy transportation and sale.

This solution can be optimized to meet different customer needs:
1. If needed, buffer silos can be added between each process section. This improves production line automation and reduces dust pollution in the workshop.
2. If the raw material moisture content is no higher than 15%, a dryer can be omitted and pelletizing can proceed directly after crushing. If the moisture content is higher than 15% but lower than 20%, mixing the dry and wet materials to neutralize and reduce the moisture content before pelletizing can be considered.
3. Packaging equipment can be adjusted based on customer packaging requirements.
