Introduction:

White crystals. Melting point 30-31℃, boiling point 180℃, 66℃ (1.07kPa), refractive index 1.4820 (20℃).

Uses:

‌Used in silicone or elastic seals or plugging in oil wells or gas wells as an inhibitor to prevent the organic silicon composition from solidifying on the way to the predetermined position. Adding it to the corrosive medium can significantly reduce the metal corrosion rate. It can be used alone as a corrosion inhibitor or compounded with substances that produce synergistic effects to obtain higher corrosion inhibition efficiency. It is often used in combination with amine corrosion inhibitors and potassium iodide and cuprous iodide, and can be used in the temperature range of 200~260℃.
