aqueous solution of this product can be stored at room temperature
for 7 days, and deterioration and decomposition will be accelerated
when exposed to alkali and heat. Specific rotation [α] 23D-34.8°
(1%, water); its aqueous solution has maximum absorption at
wavelengths of 260nm and 340nm. It is easily soluble in water,
insoluble in organic solvents such as aceton.
