single-component, room-temperature vulcanizing (RTV) silicone
adhesive specifically engineered to
withstand extreme high-temperature conditions in automotive engines
and powertrain systems. It exhibits excellent thermal stability,
maintaining its sealing
integrity and mechanical properties even when exposed to continuous
temperatures ranging from -60°C to 315°C (and intermittent peaks up
to 340°C), ensuring
long-term resistance to thermal cycling, oxidation, and aging. The
product forms a flexible, elastomeric seal upon curing, which
effectively compensates for minor
surface irregularities, vibrations, and thermal
expansion/contraction of mating metal or plastic components in the
engine bay. Additionally, it demonstrates strong
adhesion to a wide range of automotive substrates, including
aluminum, cast iron, steel, stainless steel, and most plastics
(such as ABS and nylon), while also
providing excellent resistance to automotive fluids like engine
oil, coolant, transmission fluid, gasoline, and diesel fuel, as
well as water and harsh environmental
contaminants.
