• Function

By means of the meshing of the sun gear, planetary gears, and ring gear, different transmission ratios can be obtained. For example, when the power is input from the sun gear and output from the ring gear with the planet carrier locked, a specific reduction ratio can be achieved, which is suitable for the working conditions that require low - speed and high - torque, such as the digging operation of excavators.

2.Realizing Power Shunt: The planetary gear can distribute the power to multiple planetary gears, and these planetary gears can share the load together. This not only enhances the bearing capacity of the gear system but also makes the force on the main shaft balanced, which is beneficial to improving the reliability and service life of the gear system.
