A thin paper used for sanitary purposes, including toilet paper,
towel paper, napkin paper, etc. The basis weight is generally below
30g/㎡. It has good softness, absorbency and cleanliness. It is
usually made of cotton pulp, wood pulp or straw pulp soaked in
alkali or various disinfectants, heated at high temperature and
then subjected to various fine processing. The surface of the
product is wrinkled and mostly white. Some high-grade toilet paper
surfaces also need to be embossed. In order to increase softness,
it is often necessary to add some softeners or chain breakers to
the pulp. The product is sold in small rolls, small boxes or other
forms.
