is a fixed gas fire extinguishing system, which uses
sevofluoropropane (HFC-227ea) as fire extinguishing agent. This
type of fire extinguishing device is usually designed to protect
areas that cannot withstand water damage or other types of fire
extinguishing agent damage, such as computer rooms,
telecommunications equipment rooms, museums and other places.
Sevofluoropropane is a colorless, odorless, non-conductive,
chemically stable clean gas extinguishing agent, which can be
stored at low temperatures, and will not leave residue when
released, and will not cause damage to the atmospheric ozone layer.
Sevofluoropropane fire suppression is mainly achieved by
interrupting the combustion chain reaction, which can quickly
reduce the oxygen concentration in the protected area to the level
required for maintaining combustion, so as to achieve the purpose
of fire suppression.
Internal storage pressure refers to maintaining a certain pressure
inside the fire extinguishing agent container to ensure that when
the system is started, the fire extinguishing agent can be quickly
delivered to the area that needs to be protected. This type of fire
extinguishing device generally includes fire extinguishing agent
bottle group, drive gas bottle group, control valve, conveying pipe
and nozzle and other components.
When the fire detection system detects the fire signal and
triggers, the control system will open the corresponding control
valve, so that the driving gas to push the fire extinguishing agent
from the storage container through the pipeline network to the fire
site, and through the nozzle evenly released.
