Brief Introduction

The Purification System Glove Box is a laboratory device designed to infuse its chamber with high-purity inert gas and simultaneously purify it by eliminating active impurities. Commonly known as a "vacuum glove box for water and oxygen extraction" or an "inert gas purification glove box," its main functions include the removal of water, oxygen, and other organic gases. This glove box is widely employed to establish a high-purity, contamination-free environment free from water, oxygen, and dust particles.

Working principle

The box and purification system are integrated to establish a securely enclosed operational area. By consistently infusing inert gas or nitrogen into the box, it enables the continuous extraction of active substances in a cyclical manner, thereby ensuring that the interior maintains an exceptional level of cleanliness and a consistent high-purity inert gas atmosphere, with water content kept at 1 ppm or below and oxygen content limited to 1 ppm or less.

Structure Principle

The Purification System Glove Box primarily consists of two essential components: the main box body and a transition chamber. We offer customized designs and specifications to meet our clients' unique requirements.

The main box body features two or more glove operation interfaces on its front or back side, enabling simultaneous operation by one or multiple operators, thus enhancing the efficiency of using the glove box. Furthermore, observation windows are incorporated on either the front or back, offering clear visibility of the operational processes inside the box. Air suction and charging nozzles are located on the valves of the transition chamber, facilitating the extraction or introduction of air as needed. Additionally, the main box body is equipped with a valve and nozzle that can be used to maintain an air pressure balance inside the box whenever necessary.

The transition chamber serves as an intermediary space between the main box body and the external environment, comprising two sealing doors, two valves, and a chamber body. Both sealing doors effectively isolate the interior of the main box body from the outside, allowing for seamless transfer of items in and out of the box while maintaining an isolated atmosphere, thereby eliminating the need for repeated evacuation and inflation procedures.

Cabinet water and oxygen content under the standard condition:
The acceptable water content is limited to 1 ppm or less, and the oxygen content must not exceed 1 ppm (Note: These specifications are measured under standard conditions of atmospheric pressure and a constant temperature of 20°C).
Leakage Rate: ≤0.05Vol%/ h (subject to change value of oxygen content in box)
Used Gas:
a) Working Gas: N2,Ar,He and etc.
b) Controlling Gas: Compressed air or Inert Gas.
C) Restoring Gas: Mixed gas of working gas and hydrogen.
Restoring gas is as same as working gas if there is only water removal system or oxygen removal system.Note: An assembled glove box system comprises single-sided boxes, each equipped with four gloves, and the number of these boxes can be tailored to meet customer requirements. Additionally, the purification columns are specifically designed in quantities that exactly match each customer's specifications.
