Basic composition:
With a stampable thin steel plate as the substrate, tin is plated
on its surface through an electroplating process to form a steel
product with a multi-layer protective film.
Principle of corrosion resistance:
In the inner wall of a food can filled with a complex mixture (or
in a weak acid solution) and with a certain vacuum, the potential
of tin is lower than that of the base material iron. Tin is the
anode, and its dissolution protects the iron; and during the shelf
life of the food can, the amount of tin dissolved is basically
harmless to the human body. When the outer wall of the can is in an
atmospheric solution, the tin coating is in a cathodic protection
state and has sufficient chemical stability.
Advantages of production process:
It is produced by electroplating process, with high productivity,
low cost, thin and uniform coating, different coating thicknesses
can be produced, and single-sided or double-sided plating can be
performed. Compared with the hot-dip method, the thickness of the
tin coating is uniform and easy to control, and the amount of tin
consumed is less.

various surface treatments and printing, and it is easy to weld and
process into food cans of different shapes.
- Strong adaptability to ambient temperature: under different ambient
temperature conditions, the performance is stable and can adapt to
the storage and transportation requirements of food.

packaging, such as various meat, fish, fruit, vegetable and other
food cans, as well as beverage cans, etc.
