- 3M™ PTFE Film 5490 tape has an extruded polytetrafluoroethylene
(PTFE) film backing. This tape has an extremely low coefficient of
friction and is combined with a pressure-sensitive silicone
adhesive. A smooth, non-stick surface can be formed on a variety of
substrates, helping materials move in various types of flat
applications.
