This document describes the features of CPU firmware release 7.85 for the existing IC697CGR935 CPU module and for the new IC697CGR772 CPU module. The purpose of firmware release 7.85 is to:

• Support the release of new CPU model IC697CGR772.
• Provide the capability to use Serial Ports 1 and 2 on these two CPU modules.
• Increase the LD and C program size capacity on the IC697CGR935.

The IC697CGR935-GB is a One Slot Controller Module and is part of the GE Fanuc Series. This allows for fluctuating point computations, which are required for CPU redundancy applications.

The controller of the Redundancy System is the controller module. When using the module, there are two control mechanisms to be aware of.Each synchronized PLC uses numerous single bus networks with one redundant controller in the GHS process.
