In liquid applications, baffles typically occupy 20-30% of the shell diameter, while in gas applications they occupy 40-45%. Baffles are evenly spaced to reduce pressure drop and ensure uniform fluid velocity.

How are baffles being processed?

The machining process for baffles is the same as for tube sheets. Since a heat exchanger usually requires multiple baffles, they need to be assembled together and drilled at one time.
