Twin Screw Extruder Features
Intermeshing, Co-rotating Screws: The two screws are mounted on splined shafts and rotate in the
same direction, causing the material to be continuously mixed and
transported through the barrel.
Tight, Self-Wiping Design: The tight clearance between the screws and the barrel walls, as
well as between the intermeshing screw elements, creates a
self-wiping action that prevents material buildup and stagnation.
This ensures high efficiency and complete self-cleaning.
High Efficiency and Versatility: The combination of intensive mixing, efficient material transport,
and complete self-cleaning makes twin-screw extruders highly
