Galvanised Zinc Sheet Description
Zinc-coated steel sheets, also known as galvanised steel
sheets,coated with a layer of zinc through galvanisation
process.This zinc coating serves as a protective barrier,protect
the steel against rust and corrosion while exposure to moisture and
air.The zinc layer has uniform thickness and strong adhesion.No
peeling and good corrosion resistance.The surface is very smooth
and clean,zinc flower is symmetrical,beautiful.
The zinc layer creates a sacrificial barrier, meaning that even if
the coating gets scratched or damaged, the zinc will still protect
the exposed steel, significantly increasing the material’s
lifespan. Under normal use conditions, gi sheet can be used for
decades without frequent replacement or repair.

Galvanized Steel Features
Galvanized steel coils have high adhesion,corrosion resistance, and
precisely controlled coating thickness. In addition,Galvanized
steel is easy to process and weld, and also has a long service life
when exposed to the atmosphere.
- Excellent anti-corrosion:
Galvanised Steel has excellent corrosion resistance,the zinc
coating layer has better electrochemical protection on steel than
painting and plastic coating.It can last for decades of years
without any problem of peeling off,and also higher collosion and
scratch resistance.
Not only will the zinc coating play the role of a physical barrier
but also protects the steel underneath through electrochemical
reactions (sacrificial anode action) when the coating is scratched
or damaged.
Hot-dip galvanized steel coils maintain the processability of
steel, and the zinc layer is thin and uniform, which does not
affect the performance of steel during processing and forming.
Galvanized steel has good thermal resistance,can be used for long
time without discoloration below 230℃, and it will discolor when it
exceeds 250℃.
