Nihon Kohden Life Scope BSM-2301C Bedside Patient Monitor NIBP & Hall Sensor Board UR-3614 UR-3643 - Has a pressure sensor for NIBP measurement, which can be used to detect cuff pressure and convert it into an electrical signal. This is an important component for monitoring patient NIBP data, and can be connected to the main board to transmit patient data to the monitor screen for medical staff to view.It is convenient for medical staff to quickly operate and check the patient's status.

► Working Principle

Nihon Kohden Life Scope BSM-2301C Bedside Patient Monitor NIBP & Hall Sensor Board UR-3614 UR-3643 mainly consists of a safety control microcontroller, a safety pressure sensor, a solenoid valve, a pump, and a power cut-off circuit for the valve and pump. The cuff pressure is monitored separately by this safety circuit and the DPU on the main board. If an erroneous operation such as over-inflation of the cuff occurs due to a malfunction of the main board or a malfunction of the measurement circuit on the NIBP board, the safety circuit on the NIBP board provides multiple safety functions to protect the patient from the effects of erroneous operation.

► Replacement

Replacing the NIBP Board

Perform the following steps after the "Replacing the Analog Board" step.

1. Disconnect the NIBP cable and line frequency detection wire from the NIBP board.

2. Remove the 4 screws (marked with circles in the figure below) that secure the NIBP board to the chassis block.

3. Remove the spacer bolts from the NIBP board and remove the NIBP board from the chassis block.

To prevent the pump bracket from falling off, a rubber lock is inserted into one of the legs of the NIBP pump bracket on the underside of the NIBP board.

Please Note: When replacing a new NIBP board, check that the rubber lock is inserted into the same position on the new NIBP board as on the old NIBP board.
