1.0%), chromium (18.0-20.0%), and nickel (8.0-10.5%). A2-70
fasteners are widely used in general industrial applications where
moderate strength and good corrosion resistance are required.
A4 grade, on the other hand, is typically made from 316L stainless
steel, which is known for its superior corrosion resistance,
particularly in marine and chemical environments. This grade has a
minimum tensile strength of 700 MPa and a yield strength of around
207 MPa. The elongation is not specifically defined in the standard
but is generally around 40%. The chemical composition of A4
includes iron (66-74%), chromium (16-18%), nickel (10-14%), and
molybdenum (2-3%). The addition of molybdenum enhances its
resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, making A4 fasteners
