• If you do not use the FX-7202 for an extended period of time, remove the battery from the unit. • Do not use the battery in places where the room temperature is below 0 degrees Celsius (32 degrees Fahrenheit) or above 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees Fahrenheit).
• Charge the battery at room temperature between 10 and 30 degrees Celsius (50 and 86 degrees Fahrenheit).
• Store the battery at room temperature between 0 and 30 degrees Celsius (32 and 86 degrees Fahrenheit).
• Repeated short discharge and charge cycles will cause the battery to no longer operate at full capacity. Before charging, make sure the battery is completely depleted.
• If the battery is depleted, you should charge it even if you are not going to use it right away. If you do not charge the battery, it will automatically discharge and you may not be able to use it again.
• Battery life varies depending on operating conditions. Normally, the battery is replaced after 300 charge/discharge cycles. When the battery is nearing the end of its life, its capacity will be significantly reduced. In this case, please replace it with a new battery.

When applying cream to different areas of the chest to connect the electrodes, make sure the cream on these different areas does not overlap or touch. If too much keratin cream is applied and adjacent electrode sites on the chest are connected, an accurate ECG will not be recorded.
