Product Description:
Slotted casing pipes are mainly used for water and oil reservations
where there is not much sand. Its function is to prevent rock
fragments from falling into the well bore. It works by allowing a
certain size of sand to carry crude oil through the surface, but
leaving a larger size of sand to be plugged on the outside to form
a sand bridge, so as to achieve the purpose of sand control.
Slotted casing pipes are widely used in oil filters, and they can
filter out 99% of sand, greatly reducing the maintenance rate of
the pipe, and also improving the strength, integrity, and stability
of the pipe against sand ingress. The slotted tube is produced by
laser cutting technology, with high slotting accuracy, good edge
verticality, smooth trimming without burrs, etc.

(shown below). Compared to staggered and straight slot patterns,
gang slot pattern has superiorities over installation
torque-loading capacity and substantially improves the liner’s
resistance to lateral bucking and collapse pressures.
