Property

White crystal powder. Specific gravity: 2.633. Melting point: 150℃. soluble in water, lightly soluble in alcohol. Water solution appears light alkalinity, it decomposition when heated, and has reduction role. It becomes sodium sulphate when oxidation in the air, it is easy to decompose when meet inorganic acid, it will release CO₂ gas.
