COB LED Display with Stable Performance and for Various Indoor and
Outdoor Applications
COB (Chip On Bord) is a multi-bead integrated stentless packaging
technology, which is a new packaging method of SMD surface
packaging technology. The specific packaging is to cover the
silicon placement point with thermal conductive epoxy resin on the
surface of the substrate, and then place the silicon directly on
the surface of the substrate, and heat treatment until the silicon
is firmly fixed on the substrate. Then the electrical connection is
directly established between the silicon wafer and the substrate by
wire welding method, which has higher production efficiency and
fine display.

Advantages of COB LED Display
1. Pack closely
High-density LED arrangement can be achieved, and multiple LED
chips are closely arranged on a small area of the substrate, so as
to achieve high resolution and fine display effect.
2. No module gap
Module gaps can be reduced between LED pixels, making the gap
between adjacent pixels smaller, resulting in a smoother, more
coherent image visually.
3. High brightness and contrast
Because the LED chips are closely arranged, COB packaging
technology enables higher brightness and contrast, resulting in
sharp images in both indoor and outdoor environments.
4. Color consistency
Multiple LED chips can be packaged on the same substrate to achieve
better color consistency and avoid color differences.
5. Good heat dissipation effect
The LED chip is directly pasted on the substrate, which can
transfer heat more effectively, improve the heat dissipation
effect, and help to extend the life of the LED display.

The overall size of the LED display can be reduced, making the

Appilication of COB LED Display
The COB technology realizes the conversion from the "point" light
source to the "surface" light source, eliminating the pixel
graininess. In addition, it can effectively control the brightness
of the pixel center, reduce light intensity radiation, inhibit
glare, moire and retinal stimulation, suitable for close and
long-term viewing, avoid visual fatigue, so in close range scenes,
such as meetings, monitoring, charge center, etc., is the best
solution.
