The 3M™ VHB™ 5952 series tapes are made of an excellent fit foam
coated with a modified acrylic adhesive on both sides. This line of
products offers excellent strength, fit and adhesion, and is a
well-known product of 3M™ VHB™ tape. The product is designed for
bonding plastics, paints, metals and glass with high, medium or low
surface energy. Applications include gluing and sealing
polycarbonate lenses above LCDS, or attaching signs and Windows to
paint control panels.
3M™ VHB™ tape is coated with a durable acrylic adhesive and is made
of viscoelastic acrylic foam. The double-sided foam tape is strong
and can be bonded to a wide variety of substrates including
aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized steel, composite materials,
plastics, acrylic, polycarbonate, ABS, as well as painted or sealed
wood and concrete. Our adhesive tapes offer excellent shear
strength, consistency, surface adhesion and heat resistance.
