3M™ 2214 Masking Tape is a cost-effective, wrinkled-paper backed
tape for securing, binding, sealing, and other non-critical winding
jobs that require pressure-sensitive tape. The roll is easily
controlled and can be easily removed by hand.

for example. It is a basic crepe paper backing tape that is ideal
for general light interior use as well as non-critical paint
masking. It sticks stably to corners and contours. Our rubber
adhesives can instantly bond to paper, metal, wood-plastic
materials, glass, painted or unpainted surfaces while preventing
warping or curling. It withstands up to 30 minutes of operation at
temperatures up to 93°C/200°F and can be smoothly torn off the tape
roll for easy control.
