What is the smart electric tailgate?
Electric tailgates are a feature found on some modern vehicles,
particularly SUVs and trucks. They use an electric motor to
automatically open and close the rear hatch or trunk door of the
vehicle. This provides added convenience compared to manually
lifting and closing a heavy tailgate.
The electric tailgate can typically be operated using a button or
switch inside the vehicle, a button or sensor on the tailgate
itself, or a button on the vehicle's key fob. This allows the
driver or passengers to open and close the tailgate without having
