The process of bonding, hardening, or softening metals or other
conductive materials is known as induction heating. This process
offers modern manufacturing processes a combination of speed,
consistency, control, and energy efficiency, making it an
attractive option.
The basic principles of induction heating have been used in
manufacturing since the 1920s, with rapid development during World
War II to meet urgent wartime requirements. In recent times, the
focus on lean manufacturing techniques and emphasis on improved
quality control has led to a rediscovery and refinement of
induction technology through the development of precise, all solid
state induction power supplies.
So how does induction heating work? An alternating electrical
current is applied to the primary of a transformer. This creates an
alternating magnetic field, and according to Faraday’s Law, an
electric current will be induced if the secondary of the
transformer is located within this magnetic field.
A basic induction heating setup involves a power supply sending an
AC current through an inductor (usually a copper coil), with the
part to be heated (the workpiece) placed inside the inductor. The
inductor serves as the transformer primary, and the part to be
heated becomes a short circuit secondary. When metal is placed
inside the inductor and enters the magnetic field, circulating eddy
currents are induced within the part.

The model with a timer offers several advantages. For instance, the
power and the operating time of the heating period and the retain
period can be respectively preset to realize a simple heating
curve. This model is highly recommended for batch production to
improve the repeatability of results.
The separated models are designed to fit the dirty surrounding of
some cases.
This machine has a range of heating times that can be set for
1-999S or 0.1-99.9S.
A water pressure meter has been installed on the machine so you can
check the water pressure at the meter, which makes it easy to know
whether your cooling system is enough or not.
Compared to an SCR machine, this machine consumes 20-30% less
energy, thus an excellent choice for energy savings.
Soft Switch Technology and a perfect Protection system (Over Heat,
Over Current, Under Voltage, Over Voltage, Phase Fail, Lack Water)
enhance Good Reliability.
This machine has 4 different working modes:
1. P0: Means work at the manual, the machine will Sequential
timing, where Timer 1 displays the heating time, Timer 2 shows the
working frequency. When you press, the machine stop it. If you use
the Foot Switch, step on the foot switch and do not loosen it; the
machine is working. It will stop heating when you loosen the foot
switch.
2. P1: Means Work at time we set it before heating. Timer 1 shows
the heating time (this is countdown count time), and Timer 2
displays the working frequency. For example, if you set a heating
time of 20S, the machine will countdown count time. It will stop
the machine automatically once the set time limit is reached. If
you use the foot switch, step on the foot switch and then
immediately loosen it to start the machine. The machine will
automatically stop when the set heating time is reached.
3. P2: 2 Sections Heating (Section 1 for heating, section 2 for
retaining): In P2 mode, the user can set two different times for
heating and retention. The two times are displayed by the Timer 1
and Timer 2. When the two times are reached, the machine stops
working automatically.
4. P3: One section heating (This mode is designed for
high-frequency heating): In P3 mode, Timer 2 still displays working
frequency, but Timer 1 displays heating time. Once the set heating
time is reached, the machine stops working automatically.
