Scanning principle:

1. The ESD anti-static scanning gun can measure and display the electrostatic potential on the surface of the PCB board through the contact or proximity between the gun head and the tested PCB board surface.
2. Scanning guns are usually equipped with highly sensitive electrostatic sensors and signal processing circuits inside, which can achieve accurate measurement and display of electrostatic potential.

Scanning steps:

1. Connect the ESD anti-static scanner to the power supply and turn it on.
2. Gently touch or approach the scanning gun head to the surface of the tested PCB board.
3. Observe the electrostatic potential value on the scanning gun display screen and record and analyze it as needed.
4.According to the scanning results, take corresponding electrostatic protection measures, such as adding grounding wires and using anti-static materials.

Scanning precautions:

1.Before scanning, it is necessary to ensure that both the scanning gun and the tested PCB board are in a good grounding state to avoid measurement errors.
2.During the scanning process, it is necessary to keep the scanning gun head clean and dry to avoid affecting the measurement results.
