Iron Oxide Yellow
Properties:
Iron oxide yellow is a powder made from lemon yellow to brown.
Relative density 2. 44～3.60. Melting point 350~400 °c. Insoluble in
water, alcohol, soluble in acid. The powder is delicate and is a
crystalline iron oxide hydrate. Due to the different production
methods and operating conditions, the degree of hydration is
different, and the crystal structure and physical properties are
very different. Tinting strength, hiding power, light resistance,
acid resistance, alkali resistance, and heat resistance are all
good.
Density: The density of iron oxide yellow is 5.24 g/cm3.
Stability: Iron oxide yellow is a relatively stable compound that
is not easily decomposed by oxygen and moisture in the air.
Magnetic: Iron oxide yellow is magnetic and can attract magnets.

Application:
1.pigments: Iron oxide yellow is an important pigment that is often
used in the preparation of paints, coatings, ceramics and stained
glass.
2.filler: Iron oxide yellow has high wear resistance and corrosion
resistance, and is often used as a filling material, such as rubber
products, rubber flooring, plastic products, etc.
3.catalyst: Iron oxide yellow plays a catalytic role in some
chemical reactions and is used as a catalyst for the synthesis of
ammonia.
