The function of Static Screen is used for pre-treatment in wastewater treatment plants. It is mainly used for both municipal and industrial wastewater treatment, particularly for screening fibrous and non-greasy solids. Static screen can be also used in solid-liquid separation.

Hydraulic screen is also called inclined screen, curved screen, slotted screen, hydraulic grid. It is a small unpowered separation equipment used to filter suspended matter, floating matter, sediment and other solid or colloidal substances in sewage treatment or industrial wastewater treatment.
