Special smelting equipment for making sodium sulfide
Equipment supporting process flow:
Raw materials such as anhydrous mirabarite and excessive pulverized
coal, through the dosing station dosing, mixing and stirring to the
raw material bin, through the bin pump into the roof storage bin,
through the ring feeder into the feed bin, through the tube screw
feeder and the feed pipe feed, and then into the melting furnace

Equipment Overview:
The electric furnace adopts the mineral-heat furnace structure, and
is equipped with a three-phase transformer, a total of 3
electrodes, and a circular arrangement structure.
A complete set of electric furnace equipment, mainly including:
Furnace shell, smoke hood, smoke exhaust system, electrode system,
short net system, hydraulic system, cooling water in front of the
furnace, charging system.
Electric furnace transformer, high voltage cabinet, low voltage
control cabinet, automatic control system, monitoring system.
Auxiliary system; Furnace lining, refractory material, mixing
system, bin pump feeding system, circular distribution system,
circulating water system.
Structural characteristics of electric furnace equipment:
1.1 Fixed circular shell structure, partial core double oven
structure.
1.2 To fix the smoke hood, the preliminary scheme adopts the
structure of water at the top and high aluminum knotting material
at the bottom. Semi-closed structure, surrounded by observation
doors (explosion-proof valves).
1.3 Electrode automatic lifting device, pressure ring copper tile
structure. It is equipped with upper and lower hydraulic lock,
which is convenient for automatic pressure discharge electrode.
Displacement sensor device, electric automatic pressure release.
1.4 Large-section water-cooled cable with short-net design and
water-cooled copper pipe in parallel inverse parallel arrangement
structure.
1.5 The water cooling system has pressure and water temperature,
flow monitoring, water cut off or water shortage automatic alarm
device.
Mechanical equipment Description:

The equipment is mainly categorized by the production process, with
two dominant types:
- Rotary Kiln Equipment: Suitable for large-scale continuous production. It uses a
rotating cylindrical kiln to heat raw materials to 800–1100°C,
enabling the reduction reaction of sodium sulfate.
- Fixed Furnace Equipment: Ideal for small-to-medium batch production. It adopts a
stationary furnace with precise temperature control, often used for
producing high-purity sodium sulfide.
- High-Temperature Resistance: Constructed with heat-resistant materials (e.g., refractory
bricks) to withstand the extreme temperatures required for the
reaction.
- Precise Control: Equipped with temperature and pressure monitoring systems to
stabilize reaction conditions, reducing impurities in the final
product.
- Energy Efficiency: Integrated with waste heat recovery devices (e.g., heat
exchangers) to lower energy consumption and operational costs.
- Chemical Industry: Produces sodium sulfide for manufacturing 硫化 dyes (sulfur dyes)
and sodium thiosulfate.
- Mining Industry: Supplies sodium sulfide as a flotation reagent to extract
non-ferrous metals (e.g., copper, lead) from ores.
