It has satisfactory corrosion resistance in many chemical process media, including highly etched inorganic acid solution, chlorine gas and chlorinated various media, dry chlorine gas, formic acid and acetic acid, seawater and brine, etc. C-276 alloy tube is one of the only materials that can resist the corrosion of wet chlorine, hypochlorite and chlorine dioxide solution.
