board
The lithium-ion battery protection board is the charge and
discharge protection of the series lithium-ion battery pack; When
fully charged, the voltage difference between each single battery
can be guaranteed to be less than the set value, and the uniform
charging of each single battery of the lithium-ion battery pack is
realized, which effectively improves the charging effect under the
series charging mode. At the same time, the over-voltage,
under-voltage, over-current, short circuit and over-temperature
states of each single battery in the battery pack are detected to
protect and prolong the service life of the battery; Under-voltage
protection prevents each single cell from being damaged due to
over-discharge when it is discharged.
The commonly used equalization charging technologies include
constant shunt resistance equalization charging, on-off shunt
resistance equalization charging, average battery voltage
equalization charging, switching capacitor equalization charging,
step-down converter equalization charging, inductor equalization
charging, etc.
When the group of lithium-ion batteries is charged in series, it is
necessary to ensure that each battery is charged equally, otherwise
the performance and life of the whole group of lithium-ion iron
phosphate batteries will be affected during use. The existing
single-cell lithium-ion battery protection chip does not have the
equalization charge control function, and the equalization charge
control function of the multi-cell lithium-ion battery protection
chip needs to be connected to an external CPU; Through serial
communication with the protection chip, the complexity and design
difficulty of the protection circuit are increased, the efficiency
and reliability of the system are reduced, and the power
consumption is added.
According to the application requirements, the equalization
principle of lithium-ion battery protection board can protect and
evenly charge the power lithium-ion battery pack of any structure
and voltage level after changing the type of protection chip and
the number of series, the power level of switching devices and
energy consumption components in the circuit.
During the charging process of lithium-ion batteries, each
