The battery powers the OxyGo NEXT, so there is no need to connect it to an external power source. When fully charged, it can run for up to 6.5

hours on a single battery, or up to 13 hours on a dual battery. Once properly installed in the OxyGo NEXT and the concentrator is connected to

AC or DC power, the battery can be charged. Charging time is up to 3 hours for a single battery, or up to 6 hours for a dual battery. When the

OxyGo NEXT is powered by batteries, the battery will discharge. The display will show the estimated percentage (%) or minutes of available time

remaining.

A low priority alarm will sound when the concentrator detects that the battery is low and has less than 10 minutes remaining. The warning priority

increases as the battery depletes.

If the battery life is reduced, do one of the following:

• Connect the OxyGo NEXT to AC or DC power using the AC power or DC cable.

• Power off the OxyGo NEXT (press the On/Off button) and replace the battery with a fully charged battery. To remove the battery, press and hold

the battery latch button and slide the battery out of the concentrator.

• If the battery is discharged, recharge the battery or remove the battery from the concentrator.

If the OxyGo NEXT is powered by AC or DC power, the battery will charge during operation. Leaving the OxyGo NEXT connected to power after a

full charge will not damage the concentrator or battery.

To ensure that the battery is properly charged, ensure that the correct AC and DC power output plug adapters are used and that the 10.9 adapter

is properly plugged into a power outlet. Observe the display or indicator lights to indicate charging status.
