ASTM B856 Monel K500 disc features:
1. Material properties: Monel K500 is a high-strength,
corrosion-resistant nickel alloy with good mechanical properties
and chemical stability.
2. Composition and structure: The alloy is mainly composed of
nickel (Ni) and cobalt (Co), of which the nickel content is usually
between 50% and 70% and the cobalt content is about 20%. This
composition ratio gives Monel K500 unique physical and chemical
properties.
3. Mechanical properties: Monel K500 has high tensile strength,
yield strength and hardness, and is suitable for occasions
requiring high strength. Its fracture toughness is also good, and
it can withstand large impact loads without brittle fracture.
4. Corrosion performance: Monel K500 has excellent corrosion
resistance and can remain stable in a variety of corrosive media,
including salt spray, seawater, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, etc.
5. Process performance: Due to its good processing performance,
Monel K500 can be processed and formed by forging, rolling, casting
and other methods. At the same time, it can also be heat treated to
improve its strength and corrosion resistance.
6. Application fields: Monel K500 is widely used in aerospace,
petrochemical, nuclear industry, marine engineering and other
fields, especially in the manufacture of components requiring high
strength, corrosion resistance and wear resistance.
